There's only a minor amount of guilt when I ask Claude code to do something amazing with regex and ripgrep as I look over my shoulder at the decade old regex book over my shoulder I never got around to mastering. This is one of the things I'm perfectly fine using natural language for.

Ramping back up on tableslayer.com development next week after a break to recharge. Full release will be soon. My gaming computer has been shutting down (a power off without a reset) during gaming. Updated everything, but still happens. Not a heat issue according to monitors. My next try will be hooking up a UPS because I do get occasional power spikes. If that doesn't work, new power supply?

Last minute prep for my Pathfinder game today. My party will likely attack the Stag Lord's camp. One bug I need to fix is making sure the markers always read "down" even when the scene is rotated (I sit at the bottom of the table so I always rotate vertically). So fun to get to use your own tools!

One thing that's interesting about Table Slayer's pricing is that almost all users have chosen the Lifetime membership (which costs $85) over the $5 monthly or $50 yearly. I know this hurts me long term, but the pricing seems the most user friendly.

One habit I picked up from the frontend team at @xata.io that I'm applying to Table Slayer is to have a GitHub action to make a PR to upgrade dependencies every Monday. It's great to rectify upgrades first thing before I start any other work. I like having this be manual so I'm forced to check.
