it's almost as if they want to brand their companies as USG-sponsored - which is an awfully stupid move if they want to retain a global footprint. The closer they are to Trump, the more they will be (even if gradually) excluded from global oppty. which is fine with me.

when overseas, it's always interesting to watch people slowly wake up to news that happened say eight hours earlier, has already been fully digested by an international audience, and then it starts all over in the US (usually not paying much attn to the foreign discourse).

Her language is strikingly coup-like: "... liberate the city from the ...leadership [of] this governor and [...] this mayor ..." Meaning what? Remove them or more likely decapitate their legal authority? This direct explicit language is literally anti-democratic in nature and intent

so the question for media outlets - not the reporters but the editorial leadership - is whether you recognize the reality and start to use accessible language to explain what's happening. the question for republicans is whether you're happy with the destruction of american democracy.
