What mods would you recommend? Bought it on sale for a friend and myself a couple of months ago but it's always hard going back to the original since I've been a SA2 junkie for most of my life.

Would not have been able to complete this game without a guide (or at the very least with my sanity intact). Don't know if I'll be able to do the speedrun or one day trophies due to the game's RNG elements but I'll give them the old college try. #dax2025games

Would always record the Kids WB block (Pokemon, Yugioh, Sonic X, etc.) if I was going to be out of the house on a VHS tape. Always sucked a little but having blank VHS tapes was a good send back then (would constantly need to erase and override them eventually though).

Nice! Remember, that's how I ended up experiencing the entire game at first as well. Bought the GBA version as a kid, but wasn't able to get too far in Sora's campaign (think I didn't have the patience/attention needed to wrap my head around the deck building mechanics at the time).

Which animes are on the docket today? I've been watching Skull-Face Bookseller Honda lately myself.

Spooky Turtwig and Chikorita for sure. Love the autumn leaf aesthetic and how happy they still are. I love that derpy plant dinosaur :)

The giant enemy crab boss in particular really threw me for a loop (had to level grind for a quick second so I could even stand a chance against them).

Have to admire the woman's hustle. Romances her nemesis' Dad so she can prevent them from being superheros. An evil scheme befitting of a soap opera villianess.

Got Charmie, followed by the scientist that went insane after the military killed his grandchild. Wonderful...

Yeah, it's a pain in the ass. It's a decent excuse to go exploring in the game while listening to a podcast or watching an anime, though. Feels like hunting for 4 leaf clovers in this version, though (I miss the glow).

It's his bulls%&t scattershot attack. Do so many stupid things at once that the media only has time to cover a couple of the assanine policy changes his administration is making. Don't know how I survived from 2017-2021 -_-

Yeah, Max doesn't exist in the Kingdom Hearts universe. ergo, he isn't the same Goofy. In KH, he's just the captain of the guard for the Magic Kingdom (no dead wife). Plus Pete has been hanging out with Malificent for a decade so no opportunity for him to start a family either.

I feel like the most interesting interpretation of the character comes from Goof Troop/A Goofy Movie, so honestly, I would like to see that version of Pete in a future Kingdom Hearts games. Of course, Max/PJ don't officially exist in the Nomuraverse so a time gap would need to happen

Of course, I think a video explaining how the illness impacted you personally would be a great resource for people who might feel really isolated. Just figured I would mention that piece of media if you want to see how the topic was viewed in the 2000s versus in the present day.

I'm sorry to hear about that. I learned about the condition from a TV show back in the day called Scrubs (season 6). Even though the show is technically comedy, I felt like the actress (Judy Reyes) and the writers of the show did a good job of humanizing the condition and bringing awareness to it.
