I think it was supposed to just free-fall into the elbow and thence into the sewer stack. But it splashed enough to erode the dirt around the half brick and threw everything out of whack.

We had that under a bathroom, in effect, though not by design. The “design” was a somewhat larger-diameter cast-iron elbow sitting on half a brick angled up toward the tub drain.

“In the same way that colleges give students school email accounts, she said, soon ‘every student who comes to campus would have access to their personalized A.I. account.’” Tell me you’ve never met a modern college student without telling me…
My students use email grudgingly, if at all?

The Real Storm podcast gets straight to the point *and* has timestamps, I’ll bet.

My other car was an F/A-18 but it fell off the deck of the USS Harry S. Truman.

Not only UGA quarterback names, but distinctive, kid-comes-off-the-bench-in-a-big-moment names that got a lot of character coverage.

“Running the Sidney Lanier Bridge” doesn’t warrant at least a regional designation?

I am quite surprised to be the only one at the show tonight repping McGruff. #DoCrimes #NowMoreThanEver

Wasn’t so bad when I got here at 5:15. Had time for a pizza and a quarter of football before anyone started gathering. Seemed like it only got bad when the MNG folks moved it outside and everyone thought, “Looks like something’s happening.”

Averages are higher than the medians: 63.8 for the senate and 57.7 for the house. Which is how medians work, obviously, but the difference between mean and median is higher in the senate than the house because folks seem more ok with the weekend-at-Bernie’s aspect in that chamber.

I’m going to go see Superman, Naked Gun, and Running Man and pretend I’m a teen again with no responsibilities.

You can also walk through the streets of the neighborhood while they’re staging on NYE. Vertical bits have to collapse for transport and it’s really cool to watch them fold out once they’re parked, then see teams touch up the seams with flowers. Better than the parade the two times I’ve done it.

We weren’t even done debating whether they should try to burn a little clock over here.

If this is $25K and 10 sessions run $990, wouldn’t that equal 252 sessions? Still only 5 years to break-even at 1 per week. How often would one use such a thing?

Indeed. I grew up in Michigan and few things are more sublime than the Buckeyes suffering, but this Dawg is OK with a Tennessee faceplant, too.

My 12yo made his way through the whole back catalog once it hit the Disney app. I still smoked him on the trivia, though, which seemed biased toward early seasons.

I had that same thought once we got to the car and I saw that it was ~12:30, hoping they’d been on for an hour.

Just a guess. Why would a reputable turkey provider short me, otherwise?

LSU admin sent me a turkey with no neck. “Why do we need to freeze so much stock every year,” is often asked and now is answered.

My mother was fond of making aspic and congealed salads for holidays. Many of those firmed up on the roof of a car in the dim garage on Ann Arbor winter afternoons.

Can’t eat grapefruit on statins, though. Maybe that’s the target demo?
