I'm here to help anyone that wants to leave to setup their own firms. It's a big part of what we do.

The only thing that I can come up with is some kind of standard billing. Like .2 for each RFA and there was 300 of them.
Even then, things need to be reviewed.

That's mighty pessimistic of you. Assuming that the cholesterol doesn't get him first.

And there's no shame in it, either. Law school failed us by not teaching us how to run a law firm. But we will teach you & guide you through the process of running a law firm that works for you (instead of the other way around). Make your law firm thrive and on your terms with your vision.

Don't know how to read a financial statement? Don't know how to turn what it says into strategic decisions? I can help you! That's what I do as a Law Firm Fractional CFO.

Without monthly bookkeeping, you are putting yourself at a disadvantage when it comes to making strategic, data driven decisions. It's garbage in, garbage out.
[Side note: when going through a stage of hyper growth, monthly is not enough. You may need weekly or even daily updates.]

Having & reviewing those monthly P&Ls make sure that you are on the right track. If things don't look right or are going the wrong way, you can make course corrections quickly! Learn about leading & lagging indicators so you don't have to wait until your bank balance is negative to do something.

But for smaller firms, you can often get away with less than live bookkeeping. That being said, you absolutely have to do it at least monthly. If nothing else, many states require monthly reconciliations of your IOLTA/trust accounts.

Bookkeeping and finances are like the scoreboard that tells you how awesome (or not) your law firm is doing as a business. Just like the baseball game has a live updated scoreboard to tell you who is "winning," you should have one in your firm too.

What do you want your law firm to look like?
Let's design the law firm for you!
Not gonna lie, it's not an overnight process. But every little bit helps and you'll be amazed how much different life looks in 1 year. And then in 2 years and so on.

At Springboard Legal (that's me and my team), we help you get the law firm that you want. That you run. That fits your life.
That could mean growing out a giant team. Or staying TeenyLaw. It could be big ad campaigns or focusing on 1-1 referrals.

It's money that the firm owner had "written off" in their minds, but now we are collecting.
If you have six figures in overdue AR sitting on your books, we can help you collect those funds.

Just wait about 20 years until **all this** is on the AP World History exam.

Georgia's governor has said he agrees with the actions, even if it means Georgia jobs being lost.
He's also term limited and likely trying to run for Senate against Ossoff in 2026.

Anytime the discussion turns to Dem pollsters, consultants, leaders, I am reminded that these are the people that made Walz stop with the "weird" comments that were working so well.
They don't understand the electorate. They don't understand what we want or what resonates. Time to ditch them.

But they still have the 10%, right? So nothing changed for the penguins.

Voting will be open to DC-licensed lawyers from April 15 to June 4. Don't let Trump DOJ allies take over the DC Bar.
Bradley J. Bondi is Pam Bondi's brother
Alicia M. Long is Ed Martin's deputy

I dont know so much about the Rangers but here it was blatantly racist. They wanted out of downtown and wanted an area where the white people felt comfortable going.

Gggggrrrrrrr.
One of the reasons I still have not been inside that stadium and rarely visit the commercial area around it.
They broke so many laws getting that stadium built.

Or you know, just stop giving out the subsidies.

That's never a good thing

I think all local and state governments should stop with the corporate subsidies. Just be like "nah, we'll take that tax revenue and make it a place you want to live and work so you can get good talent."

Also, it's easier to leave when you are an employee. Just quit.
When you are a partner and need to unravel that, it can take longer. Contracts and such. Client relationships.
Give them at least a few weeks to do that. I *hope* more of the partners end up leaving.

Thats true. Guess it depends on who you pull.
And if you even get the call to go in. Every time Ive had a summons, I call the night before and they say they dont need me.

I know Sobelson recently served on a jury, but after he retired.
I also remember one of the GSU law evidence profs serving back when I was in school. I thought it was Milich but some classmates said it was one of the other ones.
So, not all hope is lost. Especially if it is a civil case.

I think the lesson goes something like... If you are going to fraud, make sure you fraud big enough to pay for a pardon.
