I thought infrastructure week was happening in 2 weeks.

Schumer still warming up his typewriter to write some strongly, sorry, tepidly worded letters.

Screenshots would work just as well and wouldn't provide traffic to these corrupt news orgs.

Embarrassing how far you've fallen. How does that boot leather taste?

With this link, you are also complicit.

The news reporter won't do anything as she'll be afraid to lose her working visa, risk becoming"part of the story" or tanking her career. Her bosses won't do anything as they won't want to lose "access". The cops probably target foreign journalists on purpose as they're a "soft" target.

The "it's all a distraction" line is getting old. The people were dealing with are not that fucking smart. These aren't distractions - they're opportunities that Dems keep blowing.

They need to update their billboards

Miro board still won't allow them. Keynote only just enabled it about a year ago.

My God yet another person hectoring us for not passing their personal purity test. We are in a war with people who want to destroy us and everything we believe in. They literally hate us. So we need to use every tool in the book and one of those tools is pointing out the consequences of their vote.

They just need to capitulate harder.

The comments on the Instagram version of the post are horrendous. Weirdly every account replying with awful shit is set to "private"

Why? So they can spread conspiracy theories like they did after hurricane Helene? That Dems are seizing land? Setting up roadblocks to stop help getting through? No matter how much help they provide, a couple of tweets from Dear Leader and vigilantes will be hunting them down.

Dying. Oh man you made my day.

While this might work on a smaller scale, I can't think of a single moment in history where walking away would have provided a better outcome than fighting back against hate. We're not dealing with hecklers, we're dealing with people who literally want to destroy us and everything we believe in.

"Booker and Kushner have a relationship that goes back decades, dating to when Kushner provided financial support for Booker..." Bought and paid for. A lair and a traitor. If you think we'll forget, we won't. newjerseyglobe.com/congress/sen...

A core tenet of being in a cult is accepting suffering as proof of loyalty. The more you're made to endure, the more it signals devotion to the cause. That’s the dark logic at play - the more Trump hurts these people, the more they love him.

If only there was an opposition party who could call this behavior out loudly like we know Republicans would...

Wise head nods from the assembled media with not a follow up question in sight.

I guess the armbands are still being held up in shipping due to the tariffs.

Incredible that he uses such a well understood technique every single time, and every single time it seems to work on a gullible public and press.

Trump only cares about child cancer victims when he can exploit them with fake awards at a congressional address.

Maga translator: these minerals are buried under the sea but with highly destructive mining we can get them. By highjacking NOAA's tech and using it for evil, we'll make immense profits for a few oligarchs. We'll destroy the ocean in the process but we really don't give a shit.

Funny to read an entire story about "Property Guardians" without having a clue what they actually are. ChatGPT to the rescue: "in the UK, they live in vacant or underused buildings at reduced rent to help deter squatters and vandalism." I guess everyone but me already knew this? 🤷‍♀️

This is what “finger-in-the-wind” Dems will never understand. Stop trying to read the room before taking every timid step. Stand for something real - something that you actually believe in, and watch the room come to you.

It's not reassuring that he had a 20 point lead in the first place.

Finally. I was wondering when they'd stumble on this. Regime change, sanctions and visits to the Hague should all be on the table.

Fair enough. Not knowing the source, it feels like they conjured a “baddie” out of thin air—a mcguffin for Ellie’s season-long side quest. It feels thin. The “mission” is now obviously just "Revenge for Joel", and not sure I'm invested enough in the characters to follow to the inevitable showdown

The trick for HBO is spotting the moment when the story diverts to a frustrating plotline & unsatisfying ending. It took Westworld, GOT, Sopranos, White Lotus S3 for me to learn. Tonight was that moment. Time to cut losses and quit. Trust me, you'll be writing the same in a review in a few weeks.

Yes just like the red wedding. Ie the show went downhill after and fizzled out with a shit ending.

Merrick Garland wouldn't gaslight because Merrick Garland would do nothing. Fuck him, he's why we're in this mess.
