Final thoughts on #Nosferatu. So...it's definitely an improvement from VVitches, which I really disliked, but.....I can't bring myself to call it good. There are times, usually whenever Orlock is on screen, that the film works. It usually looks like a million bucks, and the cast is trying hard. /1

Hope everyone in L.A. protesting is staying strong and staying safe tonight. It might seem like impossible odds, but groups like ICE are, at the core, cowardly and weak. Look to Ukraine or Georgia to see examples of how to sustain protest in the face of paramilitaries. It can be done!

the white house thinks brute force is, no pun intended, a trump card. they don’t anticipate pushback and they don’t know how to handle it with anything other than escalation. the issue is that each escalation is itself a gamble. if protesters refuse to back down, you’ve lost face. (1/?)

Shaun of the Dead and Abbott and Costello are the easy picks. The third though...do I go with Ewok Adventures, which is goofy and bad but still Star Wars, which I love? Or Shogun Assassin/Lone Wolf and Cub, which could either be amazing or awful depending on the specific story?..... Argh. Shogun.

Welp, I gave Crusader Kings 3 a hard try, and it went exactly the way it always goes with Paradox games-initially really interested, only to bail after realizing the gameplay never really evolves and just becomes a tedious slog. Honestly just feels less like a game and more an alt-history shitpost.
