As our nation girds for possible Iranian terrorist attacks, this is the person Trump put in charge of terrorism prevention. 22 years old. Recent work experience: landscaping/grocery clerk. Never worked a day in counter-terrorism. But he’s a BIG Trump fan. So he got the job.

GOP Members of Congress fall into line on whatever Trump asks. Partly because they agree but also because they fear a MAGA terrorist will kill them and their families for opposing Trump. That is how fascist movements keep discipline.

“forget about intelligence” is what should be on those dumb red hats

What the everlovin’ hell!?

Linden: Can you imagine if Donald Trump had run on no tax on tips—but only for a few years, only up to a certain amount, and only in a particular set of industries? That’s not a particularly compelling slogan—but that’s what the policy is.

Not surprised by the high divorce rate among tennis players. Love means nothing to them.

And there it is. The Minnesota assassin who shot Democratic lawmakers “voted for Donald Trump and was a strong Trump supporter,” according to his best friend.

"Donald Trump has wrecked America’s brand. He’s made crossing over from Canada a betrayal, bordering on treason, while turning the U.S. into a laughingstock around the globe." @rollingstone.com www.rollingstone.com/politics/pol...

Everyone should say it: The thing about Stephen Miller is not that he is the brains behind Trumpism. Yes, he is one of the people who conceptualizes the impulses of the Trumpist movement and translates them into policy. But that's not what's interesting about Miller. It's not brains. It's bile.

The problem is not that there are too many Americans protesting in the streets. The problem is that there are not enough. Not by a long shot.

ICE is going to elementary school graduation ceremonies to abduct people. You don't get lower than that. It not only destroys the day for the families in question, it destroys the experience for all the other people and terrorizes the children.

Excellent question.

Weird way to refer to your President.

"It's really hard to fathom that the guy making my pizza for 25 years is a gangster and a terrorist, and the person who shows up in an unmarked car wearing a mask and body armor comes to take him away is somehow the good guy” www.wnep.com/article/news...

Which Golden Calf are we worshipping today, MAGA?

Today marks 80 years since D-Day when thousands of brave Americans stormed the beaches of Normandy to defend freedom and democracy. We honor their courage, remember their sacrifice, and carry forward the legacy they left behind. #DDay80

This story deserves its spot on Page One. It’s a disaster.

NYT, Page One: “Within hours, he had an email from China, offering to move his lab to ‘any city, any university I want,’ he said, with a guarantee of funding for the next 20 years.” @nytimes.com

Repost if YOU are going to a No Kings Day rally on Trump’s birthday, June 14th. This is a great summary of what the events are for and why it’s important to TURN OUT! Please watch and share.

Cuts have consequences, illustrated. As seen on TV 📺

Ditto! Save the sympathy, whataboutism and every other hate enabling excuse for your next commie-cosplay pot luck and/or neo-Nazi jamboree.

Not only are parks profitable, they inject billions to local economies and welcome 300+ million people a year. This is yet more wealth extraction to private interests not just from all of us as a nation but hundreds of communities and small businesses.

Beloved travel writer Rick Steves, who spends nearly a third of the year away from home, has some perspective on American politics:  “Every time I read the news, I think, Well, that’s exactly what Hitler did, or that’s exactly what Mussolini did.”

the only question when you see his pardons is “how much did they pay” because everyone knows the white house is basically just a clearance table at macys now

Public employees who accept $75,000 in bribes do not deserve Presidential pardons. Unfortunately, Donald Trump thinks otherwise. This full unconditional pardon is a slap in the face to every American taxpayer and every person working hard to make an honest living. starexponent.com/news/local/a...

Three weeks after his mom attended a $1 million-a-head fundraising dinner for Trump, a nursing home executive who pleaded guilty to tax crimes received a presidential pardon, sparing him 18 months in prison. @kenvogel.bsky.social www.nytimes.com/2025/05/27/u...

It used to be that presidents wanted to avoid even the appearance of pay-to-play pardons. When Bush 43 learned that the father of a man he had just pardoned had given $28,500 to the RNC and $2,300 to McCain, he had aides retrieve the pardon grant before it could take effect.

BREAKING: In a stunning moment, renowned journalist Scott Pelley just highlighted how Donald Trump is working to stifle free speech in America, and how he plans on fighting back. This is huge.
