It can be a bit difficult at first, but once you get used to the controls and jumping physics, it's a fairly smooth sailing, provided you can work out where to go next.

The latest Brazilian DOS game I can find is the legendary The Varginha Incident, and that was in 1998, so it's on part with the rest of the world.

Yep. It's not the first time I encountered this particular copy protection way (sometimes bundled with a fake file table, making the file appear larger than it actually is,) but I'm just surprised that Duke Nukem upgrade, of all things, has it.
