It's an interesting book, because the structure is him emailing back and forth with a DW Magazine writer, so it's a mix of production related stuff and writing process, but at no point is it Davies saying "this is how you should do it" which, to me, makes the insights both more genuine and useful.

I love RTD's book about writing DR WHO. He's brilliant, but also absolutely ruthless about the elements of storytelling that he doesn't care about and doesn't think the audience cares about. Like, the formula is really VIBES > SET-PIECE > MORE VIBES > CRYING.
(Me. I'm the one who's crying.)

This drove/drives me nuts. In my head, I translated them as:
T - The Covid

Of the two things you are not concerned about, which can we say you were concerned about in our next ad?

Neil, I know this is maybe not what you want to write, but have you ever considered pitching a Middle Grade OGN Ragman? I'm just thinking about the range of books that DC produces for that market and wondering if those eds might be more open to that mix of lesser known character and diverse themes.

After digesting Catturd, Kirby can now...

...live a life of quiet desperation and existential irrelevance.

The spines on the first two books in my little indie series are different because I moved from Amazon to Ingram and Ingram has stricter file requirements *and it kills me inside* because I vowed I'd never be one of those people.

They hafta put it between the two Ds, because if it's all the way at the end, people are gonna forget about it.

Our kitten was named Sweet Pea before we adopted her, and every time I texted the cat people about the adoption, I accidentally wrote it as "Sweat Pea."
I will take your post as vindication!

It's also true that the right-leaning media picks and chooses which Democrats to cover to perpetuate this narrative.

I can't help but think of the poor blodger who makes £31,000 a year whose mates all start getting £52,000 more per year.
(I'm in favor of a guaranteed minimum income. This is obviously a solvable problem. I just feel bad for Hypothetical Reg.)
