As if gutting NSF funding wasn't enough, now the Trump administration is gutting the NSF HQ building. Tons of academic research relies on the NSF. For all the air about 'America first' we seemingly enjoy self-inflicted wounds.

Lol my boss at my 'real' job today commented how I "write excellent emails". I guess my nigh-constant practice with emails in my 'side' job are paying off. More seriously my scientist bosses do come to me for language edits (in reports or proposals etc). Sometimes my two jobs blend together a bit.
