Absolute joy. A once in a lifetime experience. It was a pilgrimage and the closest I have ever come to a level of spiritual love that is impossible to put into words. Had the added random luck of bumping into @barditei.bsky.social and @rickytfc.bsky.social ( and his lovely dad) on route to the game.

Kulu has zero defensive chops. Didn’t work at all with him in the middle. OOP in these types of games, he is a huge liability. I think he also takes a long while to get back to fitness.

I’m still not convinced that Vicario understands ‘when’ to make a short pass. Feels like yes he can do the mechanics of it , but seeing a picture form where it is the right or wrong pass doesn’t seem to have developed.

With Ange surely moving on, I hope we don’t fuck up the young talent we have on the fringes of the team. Vuskovic, Yang, Donnelly, Bergvall, Gray, - that’s a pretty exciting crop and hopefully get the opportunity with us moving forward.

One thing that keeps nagging at me over this period is; Son doesn’t shoot anymore. Not in the same volume and location - at least it doesn’t feel this way. Obvs with us no longer being a counterattacking side, Sonny isn’t scampering away, cutting in and letting fly; but it’s still achievable
