There is something in this very simple game. A calling that draws us together in a way that is becoming more remote in this world. So very happy to bear witness to an incredible feat, surrounded by my fellow Spurs fans. Shoutout to Bilbao fans who were rooting for us. #COYS

I’d like him to be more aggressive both internally and externally.

Totally. Felt bad for him.

Weird how Moore has been open a few times but Son hasn’t seemed to notice.

Wild ain’t it. Reggie looked gassed after 20 minutes.

Who have manipulated every possible financial angle to eke out some sort of advantage. Are Chelsea a serious club? Exploiting every loophole then watching it close behind them?
comment in response to post
‘Serious clubs are supposed to be clinical.’ What does this even mean? Who are these serious clubs? Liverpool? Who allowed three of their superstars to reach the final year of their contract? Bayern? Who after smashing thru Tuchel and JN, took a huge gamble on a relegated coach? Maybe Barca?

Loving them Ted. It’s probably a consequence of how easily it is delivered and thus digested. I reckon most people know and appreciate the energy invested by you guys.

of this season, but for the most part, the content has been in terminal decline.

I think I know the voice ( from listening to countless pods). Football journos have such a wonderful opportunity but seem to squander it with inane questions of zero value. I think it’s perhaps because there aren’t many specialists anymore. Also, a big focus on being ‘mates’ with the player / coach

Just a thought - if journos proceed to ask bog standard - weak ass questions , at what point to you just get AI to do it? There is so little meaningful questions at these pressers, it could easily be all replaced.

Who is the journo? Props to JM for articulating a complex answer from what was a lazy / classic trope question.

Kulu has really struggled in that 10 role tonight. I don’t like the positions he has taken up. Probs doesn’t help that Richy is that player that you just swing balls into . Especially against these two CBs.

Due to the game frying my brain, as I ask myself over and over ‘How do Forest do so much with so little?’ , I discovered that they have the highest XG over-performance (+13) in the top 5 leagues in Europe. ( FBref /FotMob)

to a degree. He did it once last night, and we all for a moment remembered how utterly devastating he can be. I reckon Understat would give shot location. I thought it might have been to do with him becoming captain, as he is far less selfish nowadays. My simple instruction for Son would be to

The Ange situ has revealed the incredibly low ceiling of reporting / studio talk etc. Zero constructive or interesting discourse.

Seems that the win doesn’t move the dial, which is kind of understandable. Weird game in general when faced with the apathy that encompassed Saints. Feels like everyone is holding their breath for Thursday’s game.

This is all supposition. Sorry but it is. A question I asked earlier was; Would we all be okay if he owned it?
comment in response to post
See these are the exact things that journos should be asking. Rather than click-bait - ‘you cupped your ear blahblahblah’ I want Ange to be held accountable for why no more high line, why the drop off in PPDA, why has shot creation dropped drastically etc etc. Great read. Cheers.

Why lie tho? What is the benefit? He’s been asked twice now and twice he’s given the same answer. It would be no huge issue to have admitted it would it? He wasn’t abusive or anything so if he had then why not just admit doing it? I think we are very angry with many things right now and this

a coherent pressing pattern ( especially in the first half), and why we have become so predictable in our build up play. Also, so what if he did? Mangers chide their own fans often enough. Klopp did it, so did Pep. Why the offence if he did do it? What would the perception be if he came out and

Very different situations. It’s far more interesting for the narrative to be that Ange was provoking his own fans ( then having to eat humble pie when VAR cancels the goal) than the narrative that he’s confirmed. The reporting energy should go into our lack of goal scoring threat, absence of

He’s been pretty honest throughout his tenure. It’s akin to the Son and Maddison situation. There’s alot of speculation and narratives being driven. Why can he not be taken on his word?

the game. It wasn’t something levelled about anything fan related or his feelings about Spurs. This was the interview : youtu.be/LR72IfQYxyY?...

So he was talking more in reference to the 6 minute time frame for the VAR decision and how he has talked as an outlier that he’s not a fan of it ( ‘disconnect’) - it felt he was also referring to how he has spoken about his perception of the game feels out of kilter with the general narrative of
