The Dems appear ineffective, but being effective against Republicans isn't even their goal. Let a progressive try to make any real change and you'll see how effective they are at shutting it down. The party is a glue trap to catch actual progressives and it's placed right in front of the only door.

It's absolute dogshit. As an American (unfortunately), I'd never buy a house in an area with a HOA. I actually want to own my home.

Sounds like we need a police reform, but guess who wants a strong police force with little to no repercussions for officers? How does throwing out tax money at the situation fix anything?

It's how they hold power over us. "Work for us or die." It's slavery with the illusion of freedom.

Let's not forget they manipulate the government to stack the odds significantly in their favor.

Oh, that makes total sense. I was thinking of going forward. I got pretty far into it as a kid, but never beat it.

I am literally in the middle of playing this game rn. What are the chances of running into this? I feel like I rarely ever see anyone talk about Xenogears these days.

Corruption is when you yell "I'm being corrupt!" before making a shady deal.

Being able to prevent people from using vague concepts is just absurd. I understand that they can't put Pikachu in the game or a 1:1 of Pallet Town, but sending out animals with balls and air gliding with animals? I'm surprised people can even develop games at this point.

"Owning the libs" isn't so fun now that it's costing them. If only everyone else wasn't paying the price as well.

Well, looking at the comments, that is not what you said.

Republicans once again accusing people of doing what they're actively doing.

Yep. I'm paying taxes that could very well fund my own abduction, being sold into slavery and ultimately death. The world is not a great place for non-evils at the moment.

Rich people see us suffering and think, "You know what would cheer you up? What if I showed you my ultra expensive trip to space I did just for fun." Thank you, rich people.

Ah, okay. I get you.

That's the ai overview, not the first result. I'm not saying it's wrong in this case, but I wouldn't consider it a valid source of information.

The amount of times these guys whine about "buying likes" makes me think they do it. Especially with how often they accuse people of doing the things they do.

We are now arresting people because of the crimes they could commit. Not that they will. Not that it's likely. Not that it seems like they were going to. Meanwhile actual rapists and sexual assault weirdos run our government.

I don't think we should worry about language that damn much anymore. Politics in the US are entirely vibes based, unfortunately, and language policing just restricts us.

Notice how he goes out of the way to emphasize that he's never *physically* hurt anyone, because he knows full well he's hurt a whole lot of people in indirect ways.

God forbid a corporation spend money to support a product without charging for said support. It's never about covering costs. It's always about min maxing profits. Sony's was free until they learned from Microsoft. Nintendo's was free for a couple gens after. Steam/PC is still free.

This is one of the main reasons I stopped gaming on consoles. You shouldn't have to pay monthly for a standard function to work. I can play any of my online PC games whenever I want.

As a fellow sleepy all the timer, this is likely my issue too. I keep falling off on taking vitamin Ds.

Nope. It's perfect.

If you play on PC check out the Seamless Co-op mod for Elden Ring. It makes the game so much better. I love From, but damn do they need to learn how to implement co-op.
