I mean, i still wish we'd get Idris Elba's interpretation, but I know we don't deserve it, so I can't be too mad.

I forgot Jimmy Rollins wore a Dodger uni for a hot minute. This quote from his Wikipedia page gave me five new white hairs:
"In September, he lost his starting job to rookie Corey Seager. For the final game of the season, manager Don Mattingly designated Rollins to be the 2015 player manager."

Just rewatched this last night. It’s not a perfect film, but it’s my vibe. (And, absolutely. It hasn’t been our day, week, month, or even our year.)

My 6th grade teacher called my parents to let them know I was reading adult-level books (had been since 4th grade). My mom asked to borrow one. As I wasn’t an idiot, I gave her a Dean Koontz, one of the tamer ones. She came back and asked for more and became a bigger fan than I was.

For context: shortly after this revelation, my parents began one of those "cute old people arguments" about whether or not my mother had ever used a table cloth on that dining table. She insisted he wouldn't let her. He insisted she had. It was a huge deal.

It could be those proverbial monkeys finally figured out how to type, and in so doing pitted humanity against itself in an evolutionary mulligan. But that would never happen outside of a CGI-laden film we're supposed to love just because Andy Serkis is an amazing actor.

I’d love to see a skunk next; I’ve never seen a live one in the wild, period. Would also love to see a bobcat, but they’re rare here (and I’d probably crap my pants).
