"Unfortunately the lies machine we paid someone to turn on made things up, and no one bothered to double check it. This was both unavoidable and unforeseeable, and we will definitely make sure to disclose when the machine has been turned on going forward. We will continue to use the machine though."

You bought your home for cheaper because it was near a future development. Now that you're there, you want to cancel the build: screw everybody else, I got mine! Because Boulder (highest flash flood risk in CO) doesn't need flood mitigation, I need my view! Short term greed over long term planning.

Great, more bad faith whining from homeowners who moved next to CU-owned land & then cried that they're going to build on it! "If at 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. you don't succeed..." throw another fit & try the exact same thing. A 3rd ballot measure in 5yrs is definitely going to convince people this time.
