No. Our PM should not disinvite him. What would that prove? We have the other G7 members to think about as well as that would also put them in a VERY awkward situation. Canada can show the world that we are a leader and will lead with dignity and strength.

We are sorry that the fires have hit your province hard and things are still out of control. Fires have hit many provinces hard in the last couple of years and will continue to. This is a problem that cannot be solved in a short period of time. But let's give the new government a chance.

Ok, I understand your distaste for the oil & gas industry. However, we still need it. Canada is not yet able to energize the whole country with any other form of energy. It's here for the foreseeable future. Our PM is talking about Renewable energy, so let's not give up hope.

Saudi Arabia is a trading partner. We exported $2 billion of goods to Saudi Arabia and imported $2.1 billion of energy products from them in 2024. So I guess they do have something to offer to Canada.

Agree. The few acts of violence will override the many peaceful protestors and demonstrations. Very few absorb the news all day. Most watch a few minutes and carry on with their busy lives. It's those few violent acts played over & over they will see & not get the full story.
