Ohio gave the world leaded gasoline and chlorofluorocarbons. Where is the Thomas Midgley Jr. license plate commemorating Ohio's impact on the world?

Much of what DOGE is doing is illegal. Much of it will create long-term and lasting damage to America. This is the clearest example of an action that was illegal, anti-democratic, but also sped past any moral grey zones to being deeply evil. donmoynihan.substack.com/p/what-doge-...

My favorite of the series, addressing the audience, making it unmistakable. Thanks Dr. Krakower!

Looks like the American version of Putin's 2016 Russian Undesirable Organizations Law (Federal Law of 23.05.2015 N 129-FZ), Putin uses this to effectively silence any non profit that didn't tow the Putin line.

Yet another zig, another zag, and another 90 day pause is just more policy chaos. We are now in the midst of a different 90-day pause with 189 other countries. The extent of this chaos cannot be understated. No trade policy move this Admin makes warrants enough reliance to build a new factory.

Cardinal Dolan has just blown his chances of becoming Pope. This juvenile stunt by Trump, has exposed Dolan’s praise of Trump in the past. “Earlier this year, Dolan praised Trump by saying that he ‘takes his Christian faith seriously.’" No one that praises Trump’s religious faith has a brain!

He is running government like a business. Someone finally bought into that garbage. Not Microsoft, mind you. He plainly doesn't understand what a trade deficit is, or how basic economics work. But he thinks money should only flow one way. Governments don't work like that.

Kennebec and red pontiac, just grown from cut up chunks that grew out from the eyes. Don't overwater.

Get some potatoes in the ground too! You won't get as much as you do with zuchini and tomoatoes, but always plentiful.

Anyone who looks at the sheer material abundance of our modern age compared to previous times and scoffs at it as insignificant can be safely dismissed Anybody who looks at the sheer destruction wrought by modern capitalism and scoffs at it as insignificant can be safely dismissed

It is the reason I spent so much of my teenage years on Wikipedia – as a contributor and maintainer. We were going to save humanity. We were going to make information free. And it would fix everything about us as a species. But it didn't. And that is the most crushing thing to live through.

A little surprised the New York Times got around to acknowledging him... but they cannot resist a "both sides" shout-out to a dishonest charlatan like Horowitz.
