Markanich brace to lose makes me feel insane. Is this a dream? Teuchert should’ve been subbed after the 2-1. Would’ve been nice to have a CB on the bench, even Wentzel, to avoid 75’+ Yaro. But not seeing out the lead is putrid. #AllForCITY

I don’t put much stock in Hochmann’s CITY opinions. Said our back four was “tried and true,” the one that gave up 63 in MLS last season. Made a hands/feet joke. I don’t know who those are for, but not for me.

So stretching for the ball seems to rule out any potential for having control of the ball. Part of me wishes the VAR and AVAR would’ve watched Blackmon’s actions from just before the pass, but that’d have meant more time away from action. Good to know more about how these are called.

late to this but my very caveman math MLS power ratings (g+, xPts, pts, etc. weighted and added up, it works pretty well i promise) have vancouver outpacing 2019 LAFC right now and I can't ever remember that happening for any team even this early in the season
