Incidentally this pattern is a wet one for the southern interior, especially east and south facing slopes and ranges. So the east side of the coast range, Shuswap highlands and east side of the Monashees (range just E of the Okanagan Valley) likely to be pretty wet tomorrow thru the weekend.

Unfortunately showers are more likely than not Friday evening. What is coming in is a convective system and so showers are not necessarily going to fall everywhere all of the time, but over the course of the evening most of #YVR will likely get wet.
