I keep meeting Halifax cyclists who are taking dangerous routes to/from the Chain of Lakes Trail (COLT) simply because they don't know the safer way. I found out that my brother's method was to cycle on the Bayers Road ramp, merging with traffic flying off the highway (pictured below). #BikeHfx

When we design active transportation infrastructure for all ages and abilities, we get… all ages and abilities. Including toddlers on balance bikes & a senior couple hauling groceries on a bike & trike. 🚲 ❤️
