My cousin worked fast food in Shediac. A customer asked to speak to someone in French. She says, “I speak French. How can I help you?” “No, I mean someone who speaks real French”

Our Zellers that turned into a Target that was replaced by a Canadian Tire could become a Zellers again? Full circle!

Yes, because any “smart” corporations would focus on parts of the business that are profitable. Govs should be focusing on things that are needed (and often not profitable) in order to fill the gaps and support their communities

Tried to share the original post here but could make it work. Starting to show my age I guess. Might have to borrow my mom’s internet for dummies book that she got a few years back to make sure I’m up to date on all the new tech

This decision is signaling that cross checks to the face are acceptable

💯 My daughter likes Star Wars because we watched episode 1 and she liked jar jar. Now she’s seen all the movies and a few series If I had been a dick about it she would have never gotten into it

My main concern with this is that we will also be hearing whatever is playing on repeat. I would personally go with some weird chaotic noise shit that they would likely hate and I could enjoy

Tu vois encore pas l’ironie?

I’ve seen militant Acadians lash out at ppl online for simply asking about the origin of an expression. God forbid that someone might show interest in our culture and its etymology I never considered gatekeeping to be part of the Acadian culture but I guess we don’t all have to agree on everything

She doesn’t like people criticizing the way she talks so she criticizes the way others talk

Tcheu honte indeed

Ben tu sais qu’est qu’ils disent about l’art.

Wtf?

@kateyqm.bsky.social says you probably need a security clearance for that
