Someone being into you at the beginning of a relationship and flirting with you a lot and then realizing eventually they don’t like you isn’t love bombing…. Love bombing is a specific kind of intentional abuse designed to manipulate you and gaslight you and ruin your self esteem

I think it just had to do with the atmosphere and the graphics mostly it also game around the time of Gamer Gate idr if it was before or slightly after Anita S. Blew up but I definitely think criticism of games like Heavy Rain weren’t mainstream voices at the time

Heavy Rain is also terrible LMAO but I will say… it was fun to watch playthroughs of it on YouTube before it actually got looked at very closely so I can give it that much. Didn’t seem much fun to actually play though
