seems like we are inching our way closer to another Kent State moment…only on a bigger scale. when that happens, a Rubicon will have been crossed. have a gut feeling that this USA isn’t going make it through 4 years of this chaos.

Harvard might begin the process of opening a Canadian extension campus? Initially for foreign students & possibly the Kennedy School of Government. Eastern Canadian metropolitan areas are not far from Cambridge. What a delicious way for PM Carney (Harvard grad), to thwart TACO POTUS!

perhaps Harvard should consider the option of opening an extension campus for it’s foreign students (also Kennedy School of Gov.), in šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦? only 1.5 hr flight from say Montreal to Boston. easy commute for faculty. would think šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦ would welcome the economic boost. isn’t the PM Carey an Harvard alumni?

perhaps a better Harvard play would be a foreign student extension campus in šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦. while at it, move the Kennedy School of Gov’t north too. isn’t the šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦ PM a Harvard grad? w/Harvard’s endowment & some financial aid from the šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦ Gov., very possible. close enough for faculty to commute. what a coup for šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦!

the line in the sand moment? likely another Kent State moment on a larger scale or in multiple places. it will be the Rubicon crossover that sets off an explosion.

yeah…my NYTsub expired and decided not to renew. WaPo for now and NPR seem adequate.

perhaps time for Harvard to open an extension campus in eastern Canada for nonU.S. students. i’m betting Canada might welcome the economic opportunities that MAGA fascists seem to spurn. close enough to Massachusetts for faculty to rotate. put that endowment to good use. isn’t PM Carey an alumni?

at some point, the only recourse will likely involve blood running in American streets.

it’s more sinister. theRump is crashing the economy in order to have an excuse to suspend the Constitution & declare martial law.

remember *The Troubles* of N. Ireland? could very well look a lot like that. targeted assassinations, kidnappings & bombings. loss of civil liberties & martial law. doubt it lasts 30yrs. likely economy collapses quickly followed by the union itself. if he isn’t stopped soon…it’s game over.

thought Trump’s 2016 win was a fluke. America was too easily conned. however, 2024 was deliberate. didn’t expect it or understand the why. then it hit me. corruption, brutality, chaos is what his supporters want. now i want it. the sooner the U.S. fails, the sooner we build back better. ā¬‡ļø

at the Missoula MT Sanders/AOC rally, saw a guy wearing a sweatshirt with the words…*Gulf of Mexico* arched across the front. got to get me one!

that’s pretty much a spot on prediction, except maybe for the time line. maintaining democratic sovereignty may entail leaving the one union and establishing another?

almost certain MAGA won’t be nearly as cheerful next year at this time.

so Trump saved 75% of the U.S. population from deaths that would have occurred in the last 100 days…if he had not done what exactly? please tell me we aren’t buying this hogwash!

šŸ¤” which of the two over riding characteristics of the šŸŠFelon do MAGAt’s admire the most. his stupidity or mendacity?

Amazon (every online retailer), should include the tariff amount in their billing statement, just don’t label it. kind of like the smell of šŸ•šŸ’© when you get in your house or car. don’t have to see it to know you’ve stepped in it!

also no plan to improve trade relations. *90 new trade deals in 90 days?* please! historically, the average time to negotiate a trade agreement - 18 months, time to fully implement - 45 months. the meaning? a recession for sure…if we are lucky. likely far worse.

what the Trump admin., is doing; breaking Govt. agencies, defying court orders, rounding up folks on bogus charges, attacking journalism, sacking ā€œdisloyalā€ senior military officers…all hallmarks of a fascist takeover. hyperbolic? not according to šŸ‡©šŸ‡Ŗ media. can’t fool a people who have the history.

a good German friend texted me today. German news media has determined the U.S. Federal Government has tipped into fascism and that Americans need to acknowledge this fact. if any nation can tell us when a nation goes fascist…it’s Deutschland!

seen a number of reporters interviewing big & small farmers. some grow veggies for school lunch programs & food banks…all Govt subsidized, but now suspended. some multi-million operations producing corn & soybeans for export. they all are šŸ’©ing bricks. wish reporters would ask how they voted!

fully expect these protests to expand exponentially. then he will have to call out the troops. Kent State is coming, just on a much larger scale.
