So, when trying to find the actual coolant leak, I did discover that I had a huge kink in the coolant hose leading from the Throttle Body to the Idle Air Control Valve (I'm so fucking done with this Idle Air Control Valve)
Anyway, I have a head gasket set coming from Rockauto on Friday.

It was an "Agatha All Along" kind of moment.
I actually probably fucked it up myself because when I put the vacuum hoses back in place, I had them "uncrossed".
I even took THIS SPECIFIC PICTURE before taking everything apart.

Mechanic that replaced my water pump still had my original manifold so I just grabbed the one he had.
Plugged everything back in.
Idle problem solved.
Great!
Now there's another coolant leak problem.
Fuck my life.

So after driving it around for a couple weeks like that, I tried again to fix the idle issues.
Pulled some parts off a junkyard car.
Went to do work on it and almost had it all perfect until I went to replace the IAC valve again.
I BROKE
A
BOLT.
So I had to replace the upper intake manifold

1, because it was raining this morning, and really cold.
And 2, as seen in the picture, the hose clamps were very difficult to get to.
After taking half an hour to calm tf down, I went back out and just brute force pulled the IAC valve out.
Installing the new one was super easy.

Gas prices are the same as they were 2 months ago in my area.
They were down briefly during the election cycle and until the day after Trump was sworn in.
For the record, premium was 3.79 before and during most of the election.
It briefly went down to 3.59.
It is back to 3.79.

Man, I opened the repair manual to an old car that I just bought and learned that there is a possibility that the trunk and hood lines could contain asbestos.
My car is from 2001.
I read this AFTER cleaning out as much of the trunk as possible.

On one hand, women make fantastic combat pilots.
