I couldn't just leave well enough alone. So after the last post about the car, it was actually running..has some issues still. But it ran. Replaced the MAP sensor which fixed one problem. Ran even better. But was still having idle problems, and occasional power stunts at around 4500-6000 RPM

Long overdue update on that Honda. I finally fixed it. Well, I had a professional mechanic handle the coolant (and oil) leaks and water pump replacement. What I did on my own, just this morning, was replace the idle air control valve. It was a nightmare. A 5 minute job turned into 3 hour job.

Got that 01 Honda Accord and the second I got it home, the water pump gave. Evacuated all of the coolant. It's been sitting since I got it, but just brought home today the water pump kit, sealant, coolant and some other goodies. Be a hot minute before I can work on it, though.

I recently just reignited my interest in cars. Getting an 01 Honda Accord in a couple days, and I'm super excited even though it's probably a total lemon. Hey, it's $600 and it runs! I work at an auto parts store, so why not have a project car?

Haven't been excited for holidays in years. It doesn't help that Amazon sent the gift my wife brought me in its own box (rather than the Amazon box) and it's been staring me in the face for weeks now. Why, Amazon, why?

Kinda wild to me that the Twitter crowd just automatically assumes BlueSky is for pedos and groomers and crying liberals. Like, dude, I've seen none of that. With a few exceptions I've autoblocked political accounts. Trying to stay on topic for things I like. Like games and Warhammer and A-10's
