Accounting for inflation $80 is still cheaper than games were in the 90s and early 2000s. Purchasing power has dropped in the US since then, but we aren't their only market.

He's a bit of a mixed bag from what I've seen. Anti trump, but also anti lgbtq(at least in the church). Supports women as advisors, but not as bishops. That being said he has mentioned wanting to continue francis' missions, so probably won't roll anything back that he did.

After playing ddr for most of my life, I recently confidently hopped on a different machine that had diagonals and a center button. Put it on medium thinking I'll be fine, my brain immediately stopped communicating with my feet. I am sadly only wired for ddr.

Each game is its own world and story(except those numbered as sequels like X-2 and XIII-2) so you can start anywhere you like. Many of them have had re-releases that add some nice QOL changes as well.

I would recommend NOT starting with any of the first 4 or 5 games. They are great games, but definitely hold strong to some standard practices of the time that don't hold up as well today. If you like turn based games, X is the last one that is fully turn based - after that they are action rpgs
