Gerontocracy exists to protect dirty state secrets; that's why much of Congress is ancient and Trump's first cabinet was full of old-time mafia lackeys (Ross, Mnuchin, Barr etc). Now that the explicit goal is to destroy the US, they want very young people who never knew the secrets and don't care.

i've definitely noticed this even when i was playing rugby with an amateur group at parks on summer evenings. these parents treat sports like it's military training. RELAX. sports are meant to be fun!

I BELIEVE IT. i've lived with high risk people since the start of covid and ive seen firsthand how it destroys health in the long term, but i can at least proudly say ive never brought covid home to them!

not entirely true -- many of the same players behind the crimes and scandals of nixon, bush, and reagan's administrations have connections to the current admin. trump as a figurehead is unique, but he is very much cut from the same cloth and with the same backers.

a shop near me was selling little bouquets of dried flowers and it was a revelation for me -- 3 months later they're still on my desk, exactly as they were. highly recommend.
