The Pirates are a truly cursed franchise...the Nutting Curse began in 2005 (we are twenty years in now) and I predict it will outlast the curse of the Bambino and the Billy Goat curse, COMBINED-as long as a Nutting has ownership of this team, it will be a perennial loser...

but, to what end? Cherington fires Shelton....than Nutting has Williams fire Cherington....than Nutting finally fires Williams and a new 5 year plan is started - nutting like kickin the can down the road...
