The weak overcome the strong IF they persist.
It may not be a grand victory or displacing the “strong” but persisting is existing. Continuing to exist when forces are trying to eradicate you is victory.

That was my first intro to her and I waited the whole time for it to get better. It was really long too. A lot of words to say nothing interesting.

That really struck me as well. There were several times I thought he was talking himself into taking their side, only for him to then justify on his part why he couldn't. Not many people have that great an understanding of beliefs that clash with their own.

Seeing the picture before the caption I was going to get upset at someone for drawing on a library book! But I guess the author can have an exception 😂
