Shame we’re not making long term decisions that are better than the nuclear option

But that would be her right? She’s a member of the US administration so she’s sure got access to a special bunker.

I hope you find them and they are dealt with quickly.

But also what I think is more troubling is some of the older generation also think the younger generation should just work as hard as they did - without recognising the times are different. There is a genuine arrogance of some older people to be honest

Angry pensioner Reform voters. My Dad is nearly 90, can probably afford heating on a civil service pension… but his argument would be he paid tax and worked all his life so he’s owed it when he’s vulnerable. That will likely be the argument for most of them

I love how they’ve just made up what that case was about - the meaning of the word woman… It wasn’t was it? What a waste of a court’s time to rule on the meaning of a word in general. Except they didn’t and they ruled on a specific use case.

What blows my mind is how nobody is alert to the scale of Russia’s attack on the West. So many dismiss the threat because Russia don’t have the finance. You don’t need finance these days to conduct huge misinformation campaigns and this is their bread and butter

Incredible. I love it, more of this!

This is insane that they’re reporting on this like it’s just a matter of fact issue. This is fascism! This is an active authoritarian takeover and the media are like “they’re just helping with the issue in LA, now, the weather” It’s fascism! Do your damn job journalists!

This is like saying the whole of the US supports Trump because of Fox News. Yes, there are some disgusting people with disgusting views but there are also people who opposed them. I know those people. I have never met an Israeli who holds these views - doesn’t mean I don’t think they exist

It’s not my experience of Israelis. Certainly not the ones I know who live there.

Ending their reign is the only play that will end this. Free Israel and Gaza from this leadership and help them to change the political landscape. What’s happened with extremism there is what’s now unfolding around the world. It happens when people don’t want it and it spreads like a violent cancer

I generally say nothing other than to those in my private life who it matters to. Netanyahu can’t be stopped unless he bears a personal cost. A personal cost would be sanctioning him and Ben Gvir and Smotrich who have held Israelis and Palestinians hostage for far too long.

for people around me. No, it’s not antisemitic to condemn Netanyahu and his band of extremists but how people do it also inflames antisemtism and believe me I have first hand experience of this over many years of personally seeing it happen.

Lol, who’s Hasbara AI? I think you’ll find I’m very human and it’s interesting you’ve got nothing to say about what would have happened had that boat docked in what is a totally dangerous zone of violence with inexperienced civilians and a bit of aid. Their boat also could have been swamped.
comment in response to post
So your solution would have been to let inexperienced civilians try and navigate a military zone to deliver a tiny amount of aid in a dangerous situation? And if they got targeted by Hamas or Israel? Who would have been to blame then? Escorting their boat isn’t kidnapping.

lol, I read this as people chanted a nasty chant at the England game, reform were gaining ground and they changed tack. People aren’t stupid and this post suggests he thinks they are

Kidnapped while being escorted out of the area? If they were kidnapped they wouldn’t have had time to make a video… but then, it was pre-recorded. They are all being deported. If they were being kidnapped they’d be indefinitely detained.

You can be against what’s happening in Gaza and still think that what Thunberg did was also a stunt. Her boat has been escorted to a port and she’ll be deported. Which you would have thought they would have known would be the outcome.

Because nothing brings the world together quite like funding hatred against the tiniest community you can find.

and if Labour fire McSweeney and start leading on making the lives of people better, you wouldn’t see the endless open goals created for Reform

Lol “there was a lot of misinformation flying around so we issued the interim guidance” Never mind that the interim guidance was perpetuating misinformation
