Turnout was also pretty massive - biggest protest I have ever seen here, and for good reason.
If not now, when? People are being snatched off the streets, we're declaring economic war on the entire world (except Russia of course!), and we have a tyrant toddler king. We fought a war the last time.

We can, and should criticize the human rights violations of the US *without* making the absolute worst offenders seem better.

I understand you want to criticize the current U.S. regime, and it absolutely does deserve it, but no, even as authoritarian as it is becoming, it's not as bad.
Don't make regimes that frequently murder their dissenters feel more normal. You aren't just putting the US down, you're bringing them up.
