Between this, Coast Guy, and the guy off Bargain Hunt working for Hezbollah I am calling for a complete and total shut down of British Light Entertainment until we can figure out what is going on.

I will be damned if I allow a bunch of Confederate-waving January 6th apologists give the American people a lecture on flag waving. There is ZERO reason to enter an argument about patriotism with people who still worship traitors to America 150+ years later. They. Are. Breaking. The. Law.

You have no obligation to defend or explain the behavior of random street protesters. We have a lawless government that is flagrantly violating its legal, moral, even philosophical obligations to us. Everything else is secondary

ACAB includes the avengers.

Thinking about it, this would actually be a very interesting book but it would require a strong stomach and an ability for emotional self control that I don’t have.

wow this seems like something that, say, a group devoted to avoiding the defamation of Jewish people might take up!

Bluesky shows all users by default all the posts from the accounts they choose to follow in chronological order. Vichy Twitter chooses which posts to show using an algorithm designed by Elon Musk. It's a brainwashing engine.

Our whole society is going Nazi, and it's not because Trump has mass popular support - his support has barely changed in years - it's because our elites are unable to tolerate the uncomfortable experience of opposing bigotry, authoritarianism, and conspiracism in their own social circles.

The Trump regime has charged their first Democratic member of Congress for the crime of political opposition. The Trump regime is trying to make it illegal to oppose them. They want to ban freedom of speech and end free and fair elections. This is what dictatorship looks like.

It's not like I've never gotten into it with a maladjusted leftist. They are legion! But it's probably important to remember that a lot of these centrists are also incredibly freakish people with unpopular opinions.

@irhottakes.bsky.social covered a relevant subject in its entirety

God Lakshya Jain has fallen off completely lol

There's nothing that makes me want to go "I AM A FREE-BORN ENGLISHMAN" more than people trying to pretend "jaywalking" is a thing!

Yeah, as someone who's watching both sites, Barro is vastly overstating his point, and the more evident outcome has been center-left "intellectuals" palling around with Richard Hanania

the fact that army leadership did this instead of telling troops not to acclaim partisan policy is telling, though

I think the core problem here is that “the protests of the 1960s” cover everything from MLK to the Weathermen, some succeeded, some failed miserably, and all except the right wing ones failed to fully consolidate whatever gains were won because the hoes got scared and elected Nixon.

He must be protected at all costs.

the voter guide orders me to take off my anonymous v mask & im wearing the joker makeup underneath it. everyone in the courtroom groans at my shit

I would (would not) like someone to walk me through the “the guy who has posted constantly about menswear for as long as anyone can remember is a real estate psyop” theory.

It is not possible or practical to assert total control over thousands of people, many of whom are protesting spontaneously. The right is very intentionally seeking out negative images and inevitably will find some. What you are doing by obsessing over this is giving the right exactly what it wants

I love this for her. Happy Pride 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

The more I look at the prep and legal reasoning behind invading LA, the more it looks like that the administration wants to seize supreme authoritarian power over the corpse of the republic through force of arms but also doesn’t want to do any actual work to do so. Rather surreal.

I have been trying to turn Zaslav into a verb for a while (I am not alone in this and I am sure I didn't invent the concept) Imagine my surprise when I ran into a pop culture comment section person complaining about the "desecration of the English language" because they saw "zaslaving"

Stancil is clearly in the right here
