Now he can shake hands with Tifa.

The problem at Suzuka is the cars not the track. Then again, the problem is the cars is 70% of F1.

I'm always surprised in scenarios like this that they don't ship with some optional look presets.
Or better yet, let a player customize the adjustments using the photo editor settings and let you play using the same effects like in Demon's Souls PS5. That was awesome.

Ughhhh I feel exactly the same way.

No chance for 4 player? 😢 Everyone in my game night crew loves Remedy.

What about 4 players. If it's easier for us that's fine. We just want to play together.

I adore this game and its length. Don't think anything else has come close to feeling like a desperate attempt for survival. Replayed it last year, still holds up.

4 player would be massively appreciated, even if it breaks the balance. We won't kick someone out of our crew on game night.

I hope we get rain at every race this year.

Last one I liked was Unity. Looks cool

A director may have final say but in no world do they make all artistic decisions — if they aren't making all the decisions I'd argue the concept of the singular vision is inherently flawed for any collaborative work.
We do our best work together and it would help if we recognized that more often.

It also implies that all decisions are artistic even though many are technical.

Something that frustrates me a lot about this perspective is it implies that there is a singular artistic vision.
A game is the result of many different artists, there will always be disagreements internally. Ultimately you have to finish a game.

We're back!
Here's a great F1 calendar for anyone in need. f1calendar.com

That's because modern denoising uses more input buffers than just the noisy "beauty" pass, like an albedo pass that informs texture and color detail.

Having not seen the movie I read this three times as Roy Scheider before it finally clicked. Guess I need to go watch some seaQuest.

Def not the Chilean sea bass scene.

Come for the demos, stay for the u.p.s. revelations.

This demo plays so much better on the steam deck than I'd ever expect it to. Felt like a weird breath of fresh air.

I have an official and I like it but I've also been using the deck with the Anker USB C Hub 341 for over a year and it's great. $35
Very slim so it travels well but since it doesn't have a stand you'll need a place to lay the deck down.

Official is nice, gets occasional updates for features like HDMI CEC (switch TV on and input when the deck powers on) and it comes with a charger.
Most USB C hub with HDMI out will work perfectly tho. Just get something with USB C power in so it can charge & you'll have to byo power brick/cable.

My favorite movie of all time and my favorite video of yours for the whole year. That was a blast!

Amazing. Did you set up the wheel with it too? I use the VR2 with a nice DD wheel almost exclusively with GT7 and all of that has been been more than worth it for that combination alone. Playing through the campaign entirely in VR is a journey.
I do still wish they'd just bring GT7 to PC though...

I wonder how many people never touch options to begin with. It's the first menu I check every single game.

I meant even for games. A crisp 4k game interface looks great over a 1080p rendered game. Best of both worlds.

For 3D rendering, absolutely yes, for UI its awesome.

And if I'm an outlier I'd love to know because I've spoken on the phone to 220 Electronics about this very issue and was effectively explained that it's unavoidable haha.

I got that one too and it's been great from them! Something to know tho is UHD players can sometimes freeze during playback, mainlt with 3 layer UHD BD100 discs. There's a ton of different information out there with no clear objective fix. It's unfortunate but seems unavoidable in what I've seen.

What resolution?
comment in response to

Yeah I almost went wall plates but ended up just going with a nice wall mounted cord hider. Not the prettiest but I knew it'd be better the inevitable headache when I need to troubleshoot or upgrade/replace cables. The lights on the back of my TV hide any shadows cast by the hider too.

When I think of why I'm happy for TAA the first thing I think of is GRAW PC. That and Alien Isolation. *Alias* Isolation is so good.

Steelcase Leap by far. I paid full price for mine 5 years ago and don't regret a thing. I tried to use an Aeron for years and I was always fidgeting, looking into accessories, and trying to find the sweet spot.
Steelcase Leap was the first chair that actually felt like it fit me.

I don't think the Switch is dying, I just wish it was dead so we could have Nintendo games at 60fps again. ðŸ«

Hard to say, what with the cars not being equivalent to his 2016 machinery.

I hesitate to say it feels like more action than the entirety of last season. A bit disappointed race quali wasn't raining too, really feels like weather rarely plays a role in F1 as often as it used to.

The only game that has ever made me fear and respect heights. In other games you just charge right up to a cliff edge without so much as a thought. Makes traversal much more interesting, and very unique, in a way that I really appreciated. Loved that journey. It's also beautiful and goofy.
