The only competition I could see it having is Death Stranding 2, at the moment. And E33 would win by virtue of being an original IP.

For me, it's those Mother's frosted animal crackers/cookies. I will destroy an entire bag in less than 6 hours.

And also again, the market cap for video games then was a FRACTION of what it is now. Price like its 1997, get sales like its 1997.

Hopefully they get some better writing for the next one. Even still, the first game was a ton of fun in a world where Platinum is basically a walking corpse.

You guys give me things to look forward to every week. In shitty times like these, that is priceless.

Same situation here in Erie, PA. Sucks. I'm smack dab in the middle of 3 Costcos all 2 hours away in either direction.

I just assume any given cop is an evil psychopath until proven otherwise.

I've been chomping at the bit to have an excuse to get in the robot again.

Reminds me how my sister told me how Young Justice kept getting hampered by execs who were upset the toy sales weren't good because they had a very large female audience and instead of trying to adapt to the market, they just stamped their feet and tried to cancel the show constantly.

I think the point is that even if the game ends up a flop, you only spent the budget on a smaller staff rather than having to bet the whole farm on a game that cost you the salaries of 400+ people who made it.

As you like to say, "They understood the assignment." 11 hours in and this might be GOTY already.

My first sign shit was going south was when she refused to diverge from the way they were handling Gaza from Biden. I still held out hope, but man...

Kamala might have had a shot if Joe hadn't tried to run at all and she had more time to campaign, but yeah. Some people complain about him kowtowing out of t he race, but he would have lost harder than she did, I think.

I prefer yeast donuts with a thin ring of chocolate frosting and crunchy sprinkles.

God, I fucking wish...

I was literally thinking this myself yesterday. Its the only way I'm gonna get a Switch 2 after those fucking prices.

Noooo! We need to break the cycle somehow!

I do not understand the love for WoW. I tried it to level 58 back during TBC and was utterly bored by it. All anyone does is complain about the story since WotLK as well. Azeroth just does nothing for me.

Not to mention they can't even chase trends anymore. When games take 5 years to develop anymore, the trend is likely dead and buried by the time your knock off comes out.

Yeah, Skypeia ain't my favorite arc either. On the bright side, Water 7 ( the next arc) is one of the best arcs in the series.

I'm so ashamed I believed in his campaign and voted for him.

I can't wait to primary your traitorous, heel-turning ass. Calling you a moron would imply you didn't know what you were doing.

If the Dems were smart, they'd be pushing Beshear or AOC. But we live in the worst timeline, so... Maybe we'll get Walz and the upper leadership won't muzzle him this time. Best we can hope for.

I played Veilguard last month. Its fine. Just fine. Not spectacular, not terrible. Its just another Dragon Age game.

Personally, I'm glad to be vindicated. Wasn't excited at announcement nor run up to release, and the final game has been disappointing for me as well. I enjoyed Rise way more.
comment in response to post
Thank God, I finally hear someone else say it. Ever since the announcement trailer, I though Wilds' graphics and aesthetic looked terrible. I thought I was the only one.

I will NOT stand for this egregious SLANDER against my most precious baby boy Totodile!

I feel like that's become a universal issue across all industries. Poor, incompetent workers aren't so great in number and generally don't make wide-reaching consequences except in rare instances. Bad managers stick around for way too long and affect way more beyond their immediate circle.

It's really Valve's game to lose. People have spent almost 20 years investing in their steam libraries. Moving to another launcher is a losing prospect for any consumer. They'd have to offer transferring existing libraries to even have a shot, and that's ludicrously impossible.

Honestly, if it weren't for my past digital purchases on it and being the only way I can play Lost Odyssey, I'd have sold my Xbox a while ago.

I think my favorite joke from the first movie was the Zamboni kill.

Its amazing how Moro started off with a cool as hell design and then got progressively dumber as the arc went on.

I once tried to explain to my mom how Frozen could be viewed as an allegory for being gay and it was like trying to explain the sky to an anglerfish. "It's just a princess movie. What are you talking about?" Things are what they appear to be, nothing else, in some people's media literacy.

Truth. I've seen some left-leaning people incapable of it as well. It's a widespread problem with most of humanity. Nothing further to be gleamed beyond the surface of what is seen.

All these rich assholes are setting themselves up for a reminder that the legal framework for labor regulations were the compromise to the beforehand strategy of much, much more extreme methods of addressing labor grievances...

Its a shame. Playing it now and its honestly pretty fun. Prolly the best one since Origins/Awakening
comment in response to post
I really regret buying it on launch. That game was not ready to ship.
comment in response to post
No, it's not. My ultimate point is that institutional leaders operating with the legal tools are not going to be able to meaningfully thwart the current admin. Keep in mind that anyone going beyond this would basically be signing away their life. Its not an easy thing to ask of anyone.
comment in response to post
This is also true.

You can't really play hardball in the traditional sense with an opponent who wants to set a match to the house you're both in.
comment in response to post
My point is that Republican goals are met when the gov't does not function. They want to "starve the beast". The current admin is operating outside the normal bounds of operations. If the Dems did hold everything up they could right now, it would only help the GOP faster.
comment in response to post
The GOP benefits from the gov't not being able to do function correctly. The Dems need the gov't to function in order to do what we want them to do. Thats why its so much easier for them to obstruct.

Whats wrong with Simu Liu? Didnt people kind of like Shang Chi?

Ghost of Tsushima is the only Ubi-like game of recent memory I enjoyed and I can't quite tell how it was engaging when most others fall flat for me other than a vague, primal sense of "this is fun".

After how bad Welcome to Raccoon City was, I'll believe it when I see it. Tired of getting burned.
