Could never respect someone with so little integrity after she publicly opposed marriage equality for her own political ambitions.

Yeah, there were well-established and vital programs that relied on EU funding, and it never seemed to be part of the discussion in 2016. The funding replacement levels and the uncertainty has had huge impacts on services. Frustrating that it never seems to be part of the Brexit understanding.

Yes, all Local Government Authorities had the benefit of EU funds such as the European Structural & Investment Fund. LGAs alone previously had £billions in EU funding. If you look at the LGA "Beyond Brexit" planning docs, you'll get an outline of the funding predicament Brexit put them in.

I think it'll need targeted actions against areas of the economy. Governments are so beholden to certain industries that profit and shareholders are always valued above citizens. Mass, co-ordinated boycotts?

Very true! Many people were enabled to hide their racist, imperialist b.s. behind more palatable b.s.
It's the people who knew the truth of the awful consequences, had no plans for replacing the role of EU membership, yet still pushed the Brexit agenda for their personal gain that really anger me.

It's maddening, isn't it! We just accept that we get "richer" as a country but lose things like free healthcare & education. Medicare hangs on by a thread and basics like GP visits cost most of us. Tertiary education run as corporations. All the while we subside things like the fossil fuel industry!

Starmer literally said Israel has a right to commit crimes against humanity. He believes in zionist supremacy and that cannot exist in international human rights law. His inaction on sex crimes while he was DPP also calls into question his basic belief in the rule of law. He's dangerous.

The most galling thing about these morons dragging the world into WWIII is just how obviously and overtly f'ing dumb they are. It didn't take a sophisticated Machiavellian operator, it took a slovenly tabloid dipsh*t.

I have too many English friends coming to Aus for the Ashes tour to cope with us losing on home soil.
Hazelwood's comments last summer that the bowlers had done their job is spot on. Surely with Starc & Cummins having to save our innings so often there would have to be a reality check soon!

Saying that the best female athletes in some sports would be beaten by teenage male competitors is just a fact, not saying those women are shit.
Why do you think sports are divided into M/F then?

So you agree there needs to be some restrictions on trans women competing in women's sport?

It's about fairness. Are you advocating for no separation of sport at any level into M/F categories? Women's Olympic gold medal track athletes would be lucky to make the finals of most 16-18yr old boy national comps. That reality needs to be considered in the full access no q's attitude.
