Born in a state named after the place where the worst human trafficker in History was born. Living in a state born into a compromise with fugitive slave hunters.
I renamed a Post Office once. And a school. And a park. Just once!

If it's so clear, why do they repeat the same phrase 10 times before laying out anything?

Replying to everything with: "An upcoming New York Times podcast on trans youth healthcare used audio from the mother of a trans girl against her will."

Did the New York Times use audio from the mother of a trans girl against her will? If you repeat the same thing over and over again, people will start thinking of what Goebbels said about clickbait.

We have always been bad. We are just doing to our own what we do overseas now.

I've been on Medicaid/Medicare for years and didn't know this law had changed in 2024 until seeing here that the governor wants to change it back.

Second car. My cousin's car was in my Aunt's name, and she wasn't allowed to gift it to her, so she's been impoverished for the longest time. Can't even get Medi-Cal or Medicare.

I enjoyed it. Ratings plummet? If you say so.

Ok. When you call it a "series," it makes it sound like something on a separate feed, like what Serial does.

In the federal prison where I spent last summer, the guards couldn’t even be bothered to wear uniforms or badges. Instead we had a bunch of unidentified men roaming around in Punisher, blue lives matter flag, and corrections union t-shirts which was truly terrifying. Soft, LOL.

I've heard people shit on that song, too, but I don't take it personally. I didn't write it. It happened to be playing, and it helped me cry after he died. 22 years ago. It served its purpose, and everyone doesn't have to agree. Good night.

I was alone there. Most people were part of a group they enjoyed. I can't dance anymore due to dystonia and arthritis. Nor do I listen to him much. It's for people who have more privileges than I do. I appreciated him very much once, but it was a phase.

A day or two before my father died, I ordered this CD online, and it came in the mail three days after he was gone. Hit me real hard. youtu.be/5q_JZGV05Rk My father's name was Bruce, similar age, and we're from New Jersey. Dancing at his concert later that year was an epic experience.
