I've developed large color photo papers in rain gutters. A lot is possible. You seem to be taking a very intellectual and theoretical approach (:

I know. I cut color paper in darkness. It's actually not that difficult. And relatively speaking, it's cheaper to buy rolls than cut paper. When you make color prints, you work completely in the dark anyway. You get used to it.

The only drawback: the negative carrier. The image section isn't variable. You can't change the frame. That's the only reason I still use my old enlarger. And I think the Intrepid has slightly cooler light compared to my bulb-powered enlarger.

or readjust something in complete darkness, which is extremely important for multiple exposures. My art wouldn't exist without the Intrepid. It gives me a multitude of possibilities.

It has several advantages: weight and size. You can hold it in your hand—I also use it as a light source for painting on paper. I can't do that with my old, heavy enlargers. The other advantage is the illuminated display of the filter settings. You can operate it...
