Being from Toronto, I see this as the circle of life for a small/mid market team:
- Draft 1-2 all-stars.
- Become playoff team.
- Free agents flop or don't want to come.
- Not getting lottery picks.
- Year after year of playoff losses.
- All-Star wants out and/ or GM gets desparate.
- Repeat.
