This is important to realize - so much right wing quack shit that entered our society was because the billionaire class who benefit from Trump's Presidency were terrified that Covid would make him lose in 2020 and wanted it to go away (and then denied vaccines in 2021 to try to hurt Biden and Dems)

Pepi doing the Trump dance with Pulisic shows there's not much going on up there either.
Certified starter going forwards then.

He was firing the end of the season with Poch too.

Your best XI imo.

I haven't seen us pass that well in maybe ever, the quick one two touches, the accuracy, the buildup from the back that led to a lot of attacks. We have legit patterns of play that allowed us to attack left right and through the middle. What a turnaround lol

But this was really the first time we got a glimpse into a different US men's team. And maybe what Pochetino envisions going forward.

Now... how repeatable is this? Our backline was still exposed and if Robinson is going to be out of position, whoever attacks us with pace is going to love going after Tim Ream 1v1.
Scally also was tentative to engage in a dribbler, that led to their 2nd goal.
So still lots to sort.

The combo play between Weah, Robinson, Pulisic, or Musah and McKennie.
The geometry on the field where you constantly saw little triangles forming everywhere, in our build up, Robinson was inverting to form a "box 4 in midfield" to give us more bodies to crowd that area

Everyone is going to talk about Pulisic but the stars of that performance to me were Weah (playing on a side I never would have predicted) McKennie & Musah.
And yeah it's one game, I don’t even know how repeatable it is, but it was really great to see constant runs off the ball again

Dem leaders just like consultants, can never fail, it’ll always be someone else's fault they lost winnable elections due to having zero message, and due to lived experiences of people seeing a party that doesn't even fight for the people they claim to represent.

One silver light is
Dest, Gio, Adams, Johnny (subbed off after 8 mins) Richards, Weah, Balogon
Were all missing. That's almost a full XI. So... there is room for growth when they return. It is worrying the bench is nonexistent though

The Guardian has confirmed what a lot of other Gaza journalists have reported on.

Even worse, the few times they did have someone honestly reporting and calling out the bad faith... MSNC canned them.
Shutting Medhi and Ari up.

There's been a lot of talk about our keeper situation but Turner bails us out in basically every game now.
I'm far more concerned about the other positions. Also, Poch's teams have been known to run, the team picked yesterday, couldn’t do that.
comment in response to
post
Yesterday was a sloppy field and that contributed to things too but... it was sloppy for them too and by min 50 they figured they could press us man to man without a fear of us playing through or behind them to counter. THAT'S A RED FLAG.
comment in response to
post
Tilman and Aaronson have failed that test every time.
We also desperately lack pace in our Attack when Balogon and Weah aren't available and outside of Cowill? Or maybe Wright? I don't know what we can do to fix that.
comment in response to
post
He's tried to include Musah in the XI but he's forcing it, and playing Musah out on the wing in a position that doesn't suit him.
Our depth is a major red flag right now.
With no Gio, we have no one we can rely on to playmake and control things under pressure.
comment in response to
post
But that's it, the negatives outweigh any of that. He's picked a 38 yr old to lead his defense in 3 straight games now, and bc of his immobility it effects how we can play without the ball everywhere else.
comment in response to
post
Lastly. He's given opportunities to Sargent, Pepi, Vasquez, and Haji Wright...
And Pulisic has enjoyed his football in the 2 games He's featured in...
comment in response to
post
He's tried playing with a back 3 for build up. Which did give us full control vs Panama, but we couldn't keep the ball to save our lives Mexico and yesterday wasn't any better.
comment in response to
post
Starting with some positives: he's experimenting a little which isn't bad, he's given the likes of Morris Tessman, Busio, Tilman opportunities in midfield...
A couple have played well, others have struggled.

No, They just have Richard Engle on to lie about the Afghanistan withdrawal instead.
The lies are different but no less harmful.

You're not going to want to hear thus but the rapes on Oct 7th, that claim has FULLY been discredited and debunked. Or how Israel actually got caught raping their prisoners only for MSNBC anchors to defend it.
Along with denying Hospitals being bombed. Etc.

Funny enough bc a lot of (hit libs on Twitter did this, they had no idea how bubbled up their echo chamber was leading up the election.

Steve Dece of the Blaze said he'd never support Trump again bc of the Vax lol. You're probably not wrong here.

Connect Oligarch power to Trump rule.
Everything people are upset about is bc of them.

Selling Anderson to Fulham was big too. Also. Not convinced Henderson has been a great buy either.
Mateta having a long Olympics where he played every 3 days for a month right before the season probably not ideal either

Chris Matthews and Donnie Duetch said they'd prefer Trump over Bernie and Matthews even said, If Bernie is elected, they'll be hangings on the street... like I said. I'll never get over the way they reacted to a country supporting a Progressive vision for a change

I lost my dad to Cancer in 2019. He was oddly enough a higher up for an insurance company, making an insanely good salary... and yet even with his company insurance plan and savings saved up, it royally dented him to afford those treatments. I think that's what's radicalized me tbh.

I'm sorry but ill never get over how MSNBC acted in the 2020 primaries. They lost my trust for good.

I'll be honest. I don't think people are taking the right lessons from the election. Trump didn't win bc of some insurmountable coalition of nazis and dumb voters... he largely won bc 12M people that voted for Biden, didn't this go around. Turnout was abysmal

I'm saying MSNBC is equally a distrusting propaganda network

But... people don't experience the economy in a country's GDP, or care how well business profit margins are doing they experience it through their own finances, and as we had some wage gains and UE success, we also saw people's spending Power diminish last 4 years too

There was a story to tell. Every stupid economist on Wall St and CNBC said we'd be in a CERTAIN recession post Covid, especially after the Stimulus spending. Not only did that never happen,we were the most successful economy to recover out of covid, w more growth and less inflation than anyone else

Real talk. Unless you make well over 6 figures, Harris wasn't running on doing anything to help you out
I just looked at the ACA exchange prices next year. I get the "freedom" to pay $400 a month with a $6000 deductible for 'insurance' that includes co-pays...

It's uncouth and unbecoming to do something like a Jan 6th on the left... nope, we have to accept being ruled by an Orange Dictator for life instead.
We have to accept gerrymandering, we can't copy that, we allow them to steal Supreme Court seats with no response, we allow them to ignore DOJ asks

As Trump sends Trans people to jail, they want to feel special that they were adults about it the whole time, never 'stooping down to their level"
