You should see the world of YouTube shorts targeting kids! They'll literally say 'like and subscribe if you love you mother. If you don't like and subscribe you hate your mother and she will die tonight' all in an AI monotone. It's a cesspool.

Very slowly! I'm all the way over in Shropshire and it's still cloudy.

And in the UK it was a scandal when a minister took some free Taylor Swift tickets!

It's turned very foreboding in Telford...

Imagine how much more happy and productive this country would be if this was the standard, and we just had a couple of weeks of overcast and drizzly a year, instead of the other way around! 😂

Haha this reminds me of when Theresa May was on the way out, trying to give a speech while loosing her voice, as the letters in the slogan behind her started falling off the wall one by one. Just too on the nose!

It's not exactly frosty in the summer, but compared to people in London flats I'm sure I have it easy!

Must be nice! My house is only 30 years or so old, but the insulation is awful. I need overnight temperatures in the mid-teens at least before the indoor temperature gets comfortable without heating on.

Blimey, my indoor temp hasn't passed 18C yet. The cold nights always bring it back down.

I actually saw it briefly squinting at a cloud. Probably not a good idea though!

A happy ending? Don't count on it! #GameDev

Look too long out of this window, and when you turn back it's right behind you. #GameDev

The monster is blocking your path, you turn back and there's another one behind you! Turn again and now the way is clear. #GameDev

I had fun setting up jump scares which trigger based on the angle you're looking at and for how long. Don't look out of this window for too long! #GameDev

For reference, this is the original version. It's too drab, and everything is too fast and too small. #GameDev

The enemy balls are attracted to you when the opposite colour, there's a combo counter, the charge mechanic, and the difficulty scales over time. Fun fact, during the invincibility frames it looks like you turn invisible because the Switch only records at 30fps. #GameDev

I'd have liked to have had more targets to shoot at, but I maxed out the nodon count. It's a shame there's no way to have reusable components in GBG, each target has to consist of a lot of nodons. #GameDev

I'm using tilt controls! I toyed with the idea of using the IR sensor to detect distance from the ground to raise and lower the guns, but it was too finicky. The audio-visual-haptic feedback is really fun with the rumble matching the shell cases ejecting. #GameDev

Some bonus shots of the code. I'm honestly impressed I made it so neat, I don't remember doing that! #GameDev

I have every notable Nintendo game for the last 40 years in my house, playable on original hardware. Can't get my kids to play any of them for more than 10 seconds! They'll happily play some ad-riddled trash on a phone though....sigh.

The right wing media ecosystem has become a targeted DDoS attack against anyone with a functioning psyche and now we're all just subject to it in some way or another

Hmm, is that why I have a splitting headache tonight?

Trump is probably asking his advisors if it would be a problem if he was president of Russia too...

While that's true, as someone who only gets to play late at night after the kids in bed, if a game is easy or frictionless I will literally fall asleep! I can happily play an hour of Doom Eternal before bed, but if I try an RPG or something I don't last 10 minutes.

How's that for a forecast? Stay safe out there...

And you all laughed at the Liverpool Echo with their 250mph storm 🤣
