It was hyperbole.
But the last documented stoning was actually 2015 in Afghanistan. In June of 2022 Maryam Alsyed Tiyrab was sentenced to stoning for adultery. Her sentence is on appeal.

Homelessness exists in the Muslim world and many of them are women. If women want an abortion they have to be escorted by a man to the clinic.
I have no problem with rapists being executed, but stoning as a punishment is barbaric, and the society that approves of it is a barbaric society.

And when those people were sent back SCOTUS had not said that they were due a writ of Habeas Corpus. All reports I've found said it started March 15th - long before SCOTUS ruled.
