Again, you only paid attention to media who wouldn’t ever actually talk about her platform on purpose.

You only read articles that talk about her not having a policy, she had an entire platform if you had actually paid attention

Also, employers generally care less about the content of the degree (exceptions for highly technical jobs) and more that you demonstrated you had the work ethic to get a degree in the first place.

Getting a degree is great. Don’t *not* get your degree. But that’s not all college is for. Learn anything and everything. Make mistakes in a place where it’s not going to ruin you. Take some time to figure out what *you* want and not just what other people have told you to want.

His logic has a flaw in that he uses the word “possible”, his conclusion should be that either god exists or it is impossible for a world to exist with a god in it.

The teleporter problem is easy. either the teleporter *actually* teleports you, at which point continuity of self/soul is preserved, or it reconstructs you from raw materials, at which point you could have it duplicate someone instead and the new person would not have the original soul either way.

Bert and Ernie predate squidward and SpongeBob and the comparison should be obvious

This actually matches nearly exactly my experience when “visualizing” something. I don’t “see” it but I’m “aware” of all its properties, as if I had seen it, then closed my eyes and the perception of it remained.

Coming from a tech background, “io” is short for “input-output” so pronouncing it like an initialism is my natural inclination. Or it’s the moon of Jupiter , which is also pronounced the same way.

VNs are some of the easier things to make without prior experience, the hardest part is going to be defining the scope of the project and not letting it get out of hand

It’s visible if you’re looking in the right places. For example, regular visits to Costco will show you the same couch from a few years ago is 40% more expensive than it was. Costco doesn’t price gouge and has their own supply chains too so common in-house staples don’t go up as much.

Also instagram/tumblr/microblog sites are NOT a good place to publish exclusively. They’re for advertising. Trying to navigate an interface that was never meant to be an archive is a nightmare

I always interpreted dad rock as generically rock-like music without much actually going on, like if someone was told to make elevator music more interesting and gave up after one attempt
