Genuinely it seems like all national reporters, besides Passan, are using the Sox as leverage still. Makes me want to mute everyone but Passan and just patiently wait until Opening Day and see who’s on the roster 🤣

It’s getting absurd. Just a clear lack of a comprehensive understanding when it comes to the state of the team, and the outlook over the next few years. There is zero reason for this team to use a Bregman signing (31 yrs old) as a reason to trade away prospects they haven’t shut up about in years.

That was genuinely so cool and I cannot wait to see the continued growth of that segment

I completely agree. I have a hard time believing Devers would be anywhere near happy, or even accept it. Give Devers a good defensive shortstop, and another super star, and he’ll be fine at third.
I don’t see a reason to blow up the roster for a player exiting his prime🤷♂️

I had the same results haha, couldn’t remember what iteration of Hanley 2016 was, or how they utilized Holt the most 🤣

I completely agree. While other tiers of free agents may succumb to the waiting game, there’s no need for Soto to. He’s Juan Soto. Put the money on the table and move on.
That being said, I can totally see Bregman having a Montgomery type winter after that first report🤣

I was really manifesting that over 700 mil offer to make the Mets look less rich

I feel that them putting a competitive offer in will show they are ready to be aggressive this off season in general, even if Cohen throws an absurd amount on the table.
