It’s a ‘special military operation’. Definitely not a war

And it won't even do that. 8000 non-doms would have to pay this £250k fee to give each of the 2 million people in the UK on minimum wage a one-off payment of £1000. While the non-doms avoid billions in tax leaving public services even more broken

In all fairness, it doesn't take a tax expert to see that this is just a big con. A huge back-door tax cut for the wealthy dressed up as a 'Robin Hood' tax that will benefit the poor.

It's not intended to work. It's a con. A massive tax cut for the wealthy dressed up as a benefit to the poorest working class.

Utter con. Presented like a 'Robin Hood' wealth tax, but in reality, a massive tax cut for the ultra-wealthy that will leave public services further underfunded and generate virtually no money to help the poor. Smoke and mirrors cynically designed to appeal to the most desperate in society

Remember this is a one-off £250k fee not an annual charge. There are circa 2 million people in the UK earning on or below minimum wage. We'd have to collect the one-off £250k fee from 8000 non-dom millionaires to give those low-paid workers £1000 each, just once.

Looks and sounds like a 'Robin Hood' style wealth tax, but is in reality a tax cut for the ultra-wealthy which will cause more cuts to public services. How many one-off £250k fees will need to be collected to impact the finances of the poorest paid working people in the UK?

Bullshit 'policy' con that will deceive many working class people. The wealthy paying what sounds like a lot of money and that money goes to the low-paid? Brilliant right? Except the net result is that the wealthy will pay less overall and the poor will be left worse off. Utter con-artist trickery

Aside from exceptional circs, all MPs should be obliged to register a vote or abstention. Remote voting should be allowed. No more vote dodging and no more missed votes due to inability to attend parliament

Except this time, after the health insurance companies have all taken their slice of the pie, there's only enough money left to pay for a prosthetic leg made out of an old length of 2x4 with a boot nailed on the end of it and a pair of cardboard 3D glasses from an old movie theater

Reform are just a rabble of moaners and complainers shouting negativity from the sidelines. All we hear is what they are against, what they want to ban, what they want rid of. We never hear what they are for, what their vision is, how the country would be better.
