It endlessly frustrates me that multi-party politics in the UK is treated as a new thing
British politics hasn't been a 2 party system since 1974! It hasn't been a 3 party system since 2007!
Just because the focus was always on Labour and the Tories doesn't mean other parties weren't influential

Peope in England seem to have a persistent amnesia when it comes to Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Just look at all the references to Labour not having to worry about an election until 2029, ignoring the upcoming bloodbaths in the Senedd and Holyrood next year.

Don’t think for one second that an emboldened Reform won’t come after the Scottish Parliament. Just as Democrats in the USA have been shocked at democratic institutions being dismantled, Reform are following a similar playbook.
