It does sound stupid, but my city bus routes are lousy, so it may have utility in some areas. For example, if I want to take the bus to work, it takes over an hour and one transfer. But my office is 7.2 miles away.
Or, my city could fix the damned bus routes. That would work too.

Similarly, I once reported a food delivery as late & the driver insisted they had left it on our back porch (which doesn't exist). Customer service was in the midst figuring out where our dinner had gone when they paused the call & then resumed with, "Oh no. They lied." The punctuation was audible.

Probably, but it's not too late to do better for yourself. I built up a lot of body blindness when my depression was untreated but I have made some good progress the last couple years. I won't pretend its easy, but it is possible to improve your relationship with your meat robot.
