Are you in a questionable area, or is this just a cultural thing m?

Enslaved people outnumbered farmers so that alone was a threat. They also were undoubtedly afraid that Black people would do to them what they had done to enslaved people for centuries, and they knew that they treated them heinously.

Imagine seemingly changing your entire outlook for these people or perhaps just finally showing your true colors and yet still being shown the door. But then again he himself is a minorities person, even if he chooses not to recognize it and it’s questionable whether they like that at all.

I was thinking about doing this. Not sure where so I should reach out to my doc soon.

Further evidence that I almost certainly need to leave higher education. If only I knew where to go.

Yeah that’s a good point, I don’t know size limits. I had a carry on for my two week trip to Italy but also wasn’t taking extra stuff or bringing things home.

If you’re able, don’t check any luggage; stick to just a carry on.

I am not familiar since I’m not on it but this looks like maybe LinkedIn? What a weird place for this.

Wow. Dark and sad that such a monument exists.

I don’t know much about her since I didn’t live in the state district she represented. But I think Lauren underwood probably will consider it, and Raja Krishnamoorthi, both of whom I like. It will be interesting to see how it shakes out.

Well I need to fact check my partner more often. She’s running for Durbin’s seat; he had the office incorrect.

I doubt that; I think the implication is that he will complete his gubernatorial term in January 2027 and prepare to launch a presidential campaign.

There aren’t term limits in Illinois.

No doubt about it. Pritzker has been positioning himself for a few years and the lieutenant governor announced a week or two ago she’s running for governor.

Before the video I had heard that many cardinals were watching the movie. And that viewership generally went up. Now I need to see it, haha.

Thanks for sharing that, it was fun. The memes… I mean, Chicago is the best place to have produced the first Pope from the U.S.

Everything Pope about America comes from Chicago

Ppl constantly compliment my daughter’s eyes. They don’t look like mine—I have brown, hers are grey-blue & look like my mom’s. I’m curious if any of her donor sibs have blue eyes. There’s no history at least as far back as donor’s g-grandparents & the one donor sis we’re in contact with has brown.

Very glad I didn’t wake up my toddler, laying on me, whilst laughing at this imagery.

We read some paper in grad school about how, as a profession becomes feminized, respect/pay/etc. for it tends to go down. I wish I could remember the name of the article. It sounds like something similar happening here.

I hate April Fool’s. These are the two acceptable ones I’ve seen today, clearly a joke

I’ve thought about The Practice a few times in recent months since I think I never saw the first season or so. It was a good show.
