5/5 She already seems to be chewing so much more comfortably though which is great!!!

4/5 Also, her issues would have caused pain every time she opened the mouth for the bit when bridling, caused contact to be painful, and any lateral flexion asked with the bit would cause pain cause the bit moves the jaw one way during flexion. So that’s fun. Overall so glad shes getting sorted now!

3/5 “Checked teeth” by feeling in her mouth a month ago. (Which I now know is BS cause they can’t feel all the teeth anyway or check imbalances). I’m so angry that she’s been dealing with this for so long. It’s so scary that I would never have known otherwise.

2/5 So she will have floats every 6 months for awhile to fully correct it over time. She also had large and sharp hooks that caused sores in her mouth that luckily will heal on their own. I’m pissed cause my old vet never corrected or mentioned this at floats, and didn’t even notice when he-

Gosh I would love to get into horse sitting. But I feel I would accidentally stumble into some serious management issues that I am way to passionate about with horses😅

Yeah I think the main major risk that I heard of was botulism😅 I also haven’t had much of a desire to do it, but now I definitely have no desire to haha

I’ve honestly heard some very negative things on the safety of water glassing from some scientists that make online content disputing certain things. It scares me now lol

I’ve also heard of people freeze drying and then rehydrating when needed! Freezing seems like a great idea too!

Hopefully if she does have any clinical change with the meds we can switch to something else that doesn’t require an oral syringe and fasting so she won’t hate everyone anymore

And today, she ate all of her supplements even with the near full amount of copper and zinc. Hurray!!

@mares4life.bsky.social just replied to this post too and recommended a couple brands of spot on fly treatments that apparently work for over a week! I think I’m gonna try it instead of a sheet and maybe it would help your girl too.

Oh this would be amazing thank you!! Do you know if it also prevents ticks or if there are separate ones for those? We have a huge tick problem in the summer here which causes a lot of tick borne disease

Like, the bites weren’t bleeding or anything but she did have quite a few decent sized scabs, one that didn’t go away fully and then turned into a cyst that did go away on its own.

Haha with the stress of the world as it is, that could very well end up happening

I feel like sike is what kids say when they first learn about sarcasm but don’t know how to execute it properly so they just insult someone and then say sike afterwards. And that’s why I feel it sort of phases out once you reach high school

I fkn love Walz. I’m so greatful hes my governor. And he makes me feel so much safer living here. Which I have literally never felt from any politician. We need more politicians genuinely making people feel safe in their communities and not threatened.

Which made it easier to make a community cause the majority of people were mutuals with each other so everyone saw each others posts. There are some people in mutuals with on here that I haven’t seen any of their posts on my feed.

Same :/ I mean I do the same here but so many less people actually interact. I also feel like the algorithm here doesn’t push as many of my posts to people I’m mutuals with for some reason. Like it seemed like so many more mutuals actually saw my posts on twitter.
