not sure how much is down to the original game design and how much is down to the specific elements of the 3ds remake …. we kinda hoped with how much we liked dread and that being the same style as SR that it would hold up better but i think were realizing dread refined a Lot from it

The most important thing this game did was teach us how we can play longer games. That is, playing them on a tiny handheld we can flick out and play for 5 minutes whenever we're taking a break from drawing or whatever..... 18 hours just kind of breezed by like nothing that way

The rest of the game up to that point was real good though and it still feels like it serves its purpose just as well today of being a good introduction to RPGs for people who arent typically into the genre, we're left wanting to branch out and try more of them......

believe it or not, this is now quite possibly the first RPG we've ever beaten, played over the course of this month. We're trying not to let our opinion be too soured by the last 2 hours where we got stuck in the final area underleveled and had to just kind of push through and had a miserable time.
